Yogamonks Workshop – Mithila - March 21, 2015

In my yoga classes, we work seriously and laugh a lot. Yoga is a path of Spirit, most importantly about how to be in high spirits through anything and everything. With a spirit determined to live an authentic life and to guide others in finding their true paths, Mithila continues her studies in spiritual awakening. With a background in Ashtanga Vinyasa basics, teacher training in Classic Hatha Yoga at White Lotus Foundation, Santa Barbara, and Ulrica Norbergs Power Vinyasa Yoga, she has journeyed with Anusara and classic Hatha teachers and now studies with teacher Jonathan Monks of Yogamonks and Kriya Yogananda in the UK. Vipassana Meditation and Buddhist psychology are part of her path and she has spent time in silent retreats and regular meditation practice, silence and study is her way of life. 9.30am-11.30am : A Standing Understanding Grounding through Tadasana we learn how well we are actually able to stand our ground. Standing our ground is our alignment with our inner voice and the ability to speak through that inner voice, act from the heart center and be rooted here on earth firmly whilst our spirits soar with the upper worlds. Elemental balancing workshop through Andean Shamanism – 20th & 21st - March 20, 2015

From the beginning of human existence Andean Shamanism has been the main healing system. After so many thousands of years it’s still the basic of many healing techniques we use today. Fancy names has been given to those modern healing energies but in fact they’re all based on the same blueprint. In shamanism we divide three worlds: The first one is the middle world in which we live our daily life. The second one is called the upper world. Here we find spirits and angelic beings. The third one is the lower world. Home of plants, animals, nature spirits and minerals. The world of Gaia. Those three worlds are strongly connected which each other. Unfortunately modern science has forgotten that we need to see the person from this three – level perspective. They have cut off the upper and lower world and only focus on the middle world. All physical diseases, emotional problems and spiritual doubts are however much easier to cure when we understand this shamanic model. Psychosomatic approach is already the right step to understand more about ourselves. Being for several decades trained by many indigenous shamans from all over the world we’ll teach the basic structure of... View Article

Reiki Level 1 with Emma Thomson – 20th March - March 20, 2015

Are you looking for… Inner peace? Relief from stress, anxiety and hypertension? Peace of mind, happiness, relaxation and serenity? Ways to overcome pain, disease, emotional distress? A fulfilling life? Emotional stability and mental clarity? Reiki can be translated from the original Japanese kanji to mean “universal life-force energy” It is a natural healing technique involving the placement of hands on to the body in order to channel energy and to heal. This is achieved by the Reiki practitioner tapping into the unlimited supply of positive life-force energy and transferring it to the client on a mental, physical, emotional and spiritual level, clearing out any negativity and bringing the client back into balance. Reiki is an amazingly simple technique to learn. It does not take years of practice. A qualified Reiki Master/Teacher passes it on through a series of attunements to the student. As soon as the student has been attuned, they have and can do Reiki from that moment on, so everyone can easily learn the basics. Reiki cleanses the body of built up toxins, relieves pain, soothes shock, calms the mind and emotions and accelerates the body’s own natural ability to heal.

Paul Terrell – Inversion Therapy sessions 16th till 25th of March - March 16, 2015

“Beloved friends and friends to be, I wish to share with you the extraordinary benefits of Inversion Therapy. I have developed, researched and practiced this technique for 22 years and am more enthusiastic now than I have ever been. The benefits on all levels are astonishing, and there continues to be a high rate of clients relieving and curing symptoms and diseases, rapidly achieving their health goals and finding the energy, peace and creativity they long for. The work centres on deep relaxation, and then rebalancing the structural, neurological, hormonal, cardiovascular, digestive and psychological systems. It is a special form of Yoga Therapy in the tradition of Patanjali’s Raja or Royal Yoga. Thus all hindrances to balanced health are understood as being tensions held in the mind and body. Sessions are a synthesis of, on the one hand, improving body/mind function, reducing pain, removing blockages to the self healing processes, increasing energy etc. and on the other hand, establishing a practice of being, of breathing and of stilling the choosing/judgmental habit of the mind. Thus part of the work is self enquiry and coaching, using a system developed during the last 30 years of therapy work called, ‘Soul Centred Therapy’.... View Article

Chakra Workshop – starting 9th of March - March 9, 2015

May-Britt from MBS LifeChoice welcomes you to participate in the magical journey of The Chakra system rooting in the Tantric yoga tradition. meaning wheel, or vortex. It refers to each of the seven main energy centers of which our consciousness, or energy system, is composed off. These Chakras or psychic centers lie along the axis of the spine as consciousness potentials. They are usually presented as lotuses. The Chakras are not physical entities in and of themselves. Like feelings or ideas, they cannot be held like a physical object, yet they have a strong effect upon the body as they express the image of spiritual energy on the physical plane. They interact with the physical body through two major vehicles, the endocrine system and the nervous system. Each of the seven Chakras is associated with one of the seven endocrine glands and also with a group of nerves called plexus. Thus, each chakra can be associated with particular parts of the body and particular function within the body controlled by that plexus or that endocrine gland. The functioning of the chakras reflects decisions we make concerning how we choose to respond to conditions in our life. All of us are carrying... View Article

Full moon yoga with shamanic full moon ceremony – 5th of March - March 5, 2015

Many traditional cultures revere the moon as a manifestation of the divine feminine force in nature. According to yoga, this force also resides within us. Whereas solar energy is warm, active, and outwardly oriented, lunar energy is cool, receptive, and inwardly focused. The aim of yoga is to balance our lunar and solar energies, but our asana practice tends to reflect a bias for the solar, because we often emphasize sun salutations and heating practices in the quest for physical fitness. Society typically encourages our solar, more masculine impulses, making it easy to pursue worldly achievement rather than inner awareness. Although the aim of yoga is to balance our lunar and solar energies, even our asana practice tends to reflect a bias for the solar, often emphasizing sun salutations and heating practices in the interest of physical fitness. If the divine lunar force could speak, she might lovingly remind us to “chill out before we burn out.” Like a mother, the moon can teach us to slow down, listen to our own needs, and be receptive to change. We can invoke and pay homage to the lunar energy in nature and within by practicingchandra namaskara, or moon salutation. The 15... View Article
